When you shop at a small business it makes a difference in people’s lives. You help support your local economy and create jobs within your community. As a small business we appreciate every sale and a small purchase can make a big difference. We strive to make your experience as enjoyable as possible. With personalized service you can’t get online or at a traditional department store. If each of us spent $100 a year at a small business instead of a chain store, it would put an extra $3 million dollars into our economy, not only that but it would create thousands more jobs every year. Not only that but by supporting small business you are helping someone pay their mortgage or put food on the table. Just a small amount can make a big difference, going to your locally run coffee shop or cafe instead of going to a chain store.
Spending $50 at a local boutique instead of a department store can make a huge difference in someone’s life. Little changes can have a big impact. Who wants to have the same thing 100 other people have? Certainly not me. Have you ever gone to the mall and seen all the stores selling almost the exact same thing? When you shop at a small business they are more likely to have more unique pieces and better service. You probably won’t see 100 other people in the same thing you are wearing. Most local boutiques carry limited size runs as well, once the product is sold out they maybe unable to get anymore. I would say Shopping Rule #1 is buy it now, tomorrow it might be gone FOREVER.
